A formidable lion pride known as The Lagoon Pride comprise of seven powerful members – led by their dominant male Mfume. With their territory staked out along the banks of the Luangwa River, the pride must overcome many challenges and obstacles to survive.

This river has the largest concentration of crocs in the world, which is why this prides numbers have recently dwindled. To make matters worse, a rival male lion on the opposite side of the riverbank waits patiently for the river waters to subside. If he successfully makes it across, he will challenge Mfumu to take over the pride. If he is victorious, Mfume will be expelled from the only family he has ever known – or worse, killed.
