The Luangwa Valley is a remote and isolated region where animal dynamics are complex and everchanging. When the rainy seasons abruptly end, the dry seasons turn the plains into dust…while the valleys only lifeline shrivels into a mere trickle. Where most of Africa is ruled by bloodthirsty predators, here an unsuspecting group of baboons maintain control. Their uncharacteristic and shrewd behavior gives them the ability to adapt to the valley’s challenges - this is their domain. They face many adversaries and challenges even from their own kind, as there are those that attempt to depose the chief and troop commander at all costs. War brews amongst the troop both externally and internally, and the consequences will throw the Luangwa baboon dynasty into turmoil.
